Well... we made it! It was a long flight but it feels so nice to be here. I feel like Salvador, Brazil is a lot like Hawaii. The temperature is about the same and the Barra reminds me of Waikiki but instead of Asian's there are Brazilian's. Pretty much I love it! And we are going to have an AWESOME SUMMER! :)
(my computer won't let me upload pics for some reason, so as soon as I can figure out how to upload I will post pics! so stay tuned!!!!!)

After leaving Hawaii and flying to Arizona, we drove straight to Utah then drove back to AZ, then drove down to mexico with Brint's siblings... It was SO relaxing and so needed! It was AWESOME to spend time with family and just enjoy the weekend. I wanted to get some pictures of Brint and I while we were down there. Here are a few...

the adventure begins : Part 1 Utah
Goodbye Hawaii and hello HOME! We left Hawaii and all of our belongings about a week ago and started off on our summer adventure. The first stop on the list was to visit family. We flew into AZ and then drove to Utah where my mom and sisters now live. It was so much fun seeing them and their new HUGE house!
Their home is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It is your typical dream house. Their neighborhood was full of homes like these. It was breathtaking....
I was obsessed with these trees... They are so pretty!!
Lauren, Kenedy, Ciara, Duke
We went up to Snowbird while we were there... It was SNOWING!
Me and my mom
We made Brint's famous Cinnamon Rolls! YUMMY!

We went and watch Aaron play at his basketball game, along with going to a few of Stephanie's softball games. She sang the national anthem at one of her games and she was AMAZING! So proud of her!
We visited the Jordan Temple. The temple grounds were absolutely beautiful!
This was the typical way of seating in the car. Sometimes Duke thinks he's human and just wanted to be a part of excitement. :)

(Duke LOVED all the attention!)
It was time to head back to AZ and it was sad to leave my family behind! I MISS THEM!
Duke thought he was a small lap dog... so he was either on the center console or one of our laps.
ARIZONA
Then the first thing Duke does when he get's to Brint's parents house is:
CANNONBALL!!!!
Great way to start off the summer..... :)

BUSY.STRESSED.ANXIOUS.EXCITED
(this will be a post of random thoughts...)
Preparing to leave for the summer has been quite a chore. Yes, we finally have renters, we are signing the lease today!!!! YAY! Yesterday I realized, once again, that I have TOO MUCH STUFF! We took a load over to our storage unit that we got for the summer and I would say a good 90% of our stuff that we will be storing is in there and it's almost full!
On top of that, I cannot find my camera charger ANYWHERE! it's M.I.A and it's really starting to tick me off! I am hoping that it will turn up somewhere.
Duke is flying out on Friday to Salt Lake. My mom is picking him up from the airport and she is more excited to see her "grandson," as she calls him, than us! HA it's so funny..... the we land in AZ on the 7th and drive up to SLC on Mother's Day. Cannot wait to see my sisters and my mom and the new house. It'll be FUN! :)
I cannot wait to be home and have nothing pressing, or any schedules to follow. This will be the first time we've been home since last summer that won't be chaos, and that makes me so happy....
Brint is in finals right now... YUCK! Man is he ready to be done with school. A year and a half for left. Yes people, that means that you better get you butts out here and visit if you want a free place to crash! Time is ticking! :) But Brint is doing awesome and he is really excited for this internship in Brazil.
We are both ready to get off this rock. Life this year has been difficult, and I think that makes going to Brazil even more exciting. I think we can honestly say that we will probably not live her after graduation. As much as we love Hawaii, I don't think that it is a destination that we want to settle at. Who knows where will be... I am up for anything. :)
