Fun Photo Shoot....

So approximately at 8:15AM this morning my dog was having SO much fun playing in the freezing cold irrigation! It was the funniest thing to watch him prancing in the water and just loving life. He has never really experienced playing in irrigation before but I know after this experience he now LOVES it!!! hehehe....

The water was seriously up to his belly!

Well as you can see we were having a lot of fun bright and early this morning. :) Brint and I have been at his parents house sitting and staying with his two little sisters while they and his other sister Aryn left to go and pick up his brother Jesse from his mission in South Africa!!! They are coming back on Mother's Day and we cannot WAIT!!! So Duke has been able to have an entire backyard to play in for the last 2 weeks and he doesn't know what to do with himself. He will whine because he wants to come inside and be with all of us... and then 10 min later his is whining at the door because he wants back out to play. It is driving me crazy, because what he really wants is us to go out side and play with him! :)

Last Saturday we had Brint's cousin over with their kids and they brought their 1yr Golden Retriever, Rusty, over to play and go swimming and I tell ya, those dogs were so funny!!! they swam and played and had a grand old time! :)

As you can tell we have been really busy... Brint is almost done with school! YAY he is so happy to have it done! :) and me... well I am enjoying reading my books, and laying by the pool, and running around being "mom". haha:) 

It's DARK!!!!

DARK HAIR!!!!!!!!

So shout out to my sister-in-law Aryn, she is AWESOME at doing hair! She has been doing my hair forever and I love it every time she does it!!! She is fantastic!!! So If any of you want /need a hairstylist let me know :) Wink wink....

But seriously, what do you all think? It is my favorite red color... Its dark too! I LOVE it!!! Thanks Aryn!

Now to a story.....
This little guy just kills me sometimes! Okay, so today; Brint and I got up at the butt crack of dawn (6:45AM) to go to the temple. (Props to us...getting up is SO hard for us to do) So while I was finishing up getting dressed Brint took Dukers down to go potty, like always, and well let just say he didn't go #2. Brint stayed out there for like 20min trying to get him to go, but I guess it just wasn't ready to come yet. Well anyways, so when we got home after having a WONDERFUL experience at the temple, there was a MASSIVE load of crap waiting for us!!!! But get this, we couldn't see it... Duke buried it under his blanket in his cage so we wouldn't see it thinking that our noses didn't work! Go figure.... so he got in BIG trouble #1!!

Then later, I am sitting trying to make posters for our Ward Camp Out and Duke will NOT leave me alone. I seriously felt like I had a child. No joke! He was Whinning, and tugging at my arm trying to get me to play with him, getting into everything... it was driving me crazy. So I took him down stairs to go potty because I was leaving to get my HAIR DID....(yeah, that's right, I just said that) and his friends Odus and Body were out there getting ready to go back inside. So you can just imagine (if you know my dog) how excited he was to see them. Well they left and I got Duke to FOCUS on going to the bathroom and he was doing fine so I let him off his leash like we always do so we could play ball and get some energy out. Well, I kid you not, he looks at me and then dashes off at a full on sprint to go and find his friends. I took off after him and found him running around in the parking lot and jumping on the other dogs and being CRAZY/PHYSO DOG!!!!! Oh my goodness I was so embarrassed. I was so MAD!!! BIG trouble #2

So moral to my story is... my dog is crazy and that's why I LOVE him!!! :)

Busy busy...

So you can say that we have been pretty busy this past little while...

Duke Graduated from Intermediate Dog training and we are PROUD parents!!! He did great.... (we are still working on his jumping though)

We attended a Suns game with our friends Sam and Jenni. It was so much fun... We had great seats. Jenni and I got some Cold Stone ice cream! YUMMY!!!

I got laid off at the beginning of March so I have had a lot of time on my hands... So we/I have been down to Mexico quite a bit to help with setting up the condo for my in-laws. It is just beautiful. If anyone is wanting a get a way family vacation just let me know... :)

Brint's softball team just got first place out of their season! GO TEAM! they had such a great season... I am so happy for all of them! Brint had some great plays at 3rd base! He looked like a pro! :) I was proud to say "He's MINE!!"

So pretty much, a ton has been going on in this Hiatt home! :) But it's nice to say busy....
